Hi there i recently did a firmware upgrade on my xtool m1. ever since the camera exposure is really dark. i have used the camera measurement calibration tool to adjust the exposure which works until power off. when i reboot the printer it goes back to being very dark.
i am on firmware 40.18.0260.00.ht3.
i believe downgrading the firmware fixes this but i am unable to get the firmware to downgrade and cannot find any information on the process to downgrade. this is relly making it a pain to use.
EDIT TO ADD MORE INFO:
First off thanks for the reply. i am going to have to contact support. When turning the unit on, the camera screen is almost pitch black, i have to use the “xTool M1 Measurement Calibration_221020_1500” then connect to the printer. By default the exposure setting is set to 5. if i change this setting its almost at random that the camera stream beomes visible. i.e. if i set it to 0 and click apply, it will not change anything. if i set it to a random number between 1-10 it will become visible. if i then set it to 0 again it now becomes over exposed. if i then set it to 2 for instance, it displays an exposure which looks to be acceptable. However if i use the xtool software to grab a capture its again dark. sometimes i can get the xtool software to have the correct exposure setting, however upon shutting the M1 down and upon reboot i have to this all again just to be able to use the laser. This did not happen before updating the firmware.
Also the camera lens is cleaned. not only had i checked it before, i have since cleaned it anyway but this issue is not a dirty camera.
thanks
