I have the D1 5 watt.  Software I'm using is Creative Space, xTool-Creative-Space-2.2.23-2024-10-11-11-14-30.    Some issues in the software- the older versions quite a while back were fine. Need help with: 

1. Is there any way to darken the grid when you are creating something?  I'd like it darker.  On some monitors it is hard to see.
2. On the right side, where there used to be a drop down menu for the substance you are engraving on, now it just shows User Defined and no other choices.  
3. When I engrave on wood it is fine, turns out nice.  I bought some little ‘Brass" (probably not real brass) plates about the size of a dogtag.  Brushed finish.  I’ve tried engraving on it but nothing shows up.  Using 100%, 30% speed, still nothing.  Like I said there isn't anywhere I can find a recommended setting or a choice for the substance in the software.
