I'm looking for a bit of advice.

I've had my F2 Ultra UV a couple of months now and I've had great fun engraving lots of different things, but I'm really struggling engraving glasses.

I've managed to engrave powder-coated tumblers with no problems, but whenever I try a glass using the rotary attachment it seems to go wrong.

At first I put it down to issues with the focus, but it doesn't seem to be that. Pictures which engrave perfectly well on glass coasters come out as a mass of white when I try on a glass. Graphics can look squashed. Are there any tips for engraving on glasses that I should know about?

And out of curiosity (not that I've needed it yet) how do you focus and engrave on a glass that's an irregular shape (like a curved vase)?
