Hi! I have a jig for holding wood golf tees while they are engraved and I'm having trouble with the settings. 

When I use the Quick Measure button to measure the head of the tee (tallest part), I assume the laser must rise slightly to accommodate the height but the engraving then totally misses the tee (even though the preview shows it should be engraving on the tee).

When I don't use the Quick Measure button, the laser hits the head of the tee and throws the tee out of the jig.

Does anyone have experience using a jig and successfully engraving golf tees with their P2S? Should I be using the slats or honeycomb for this project? And what settings are you using - what materials, how do properly measure the height, etc.
