I have a custom engraving which i have made with autocad. Saving them as a .dwg or a .dxf will create a file which can be used in XCS. However the lines are very thin, which is not suitable for engraving. The lines will need to have a thickness of approx 0.5mm . 

Changing the lineweight in autocad does not help, since the lineweight dissapears when saving it as a .dxf. I have also tried the command PEDIT in autocad, but the same issue appears. 

Does anybody have a solution for this? I prefer not to offset each and every line with 0.5 and then trimming all the overlaps by hand :(
