The P2S With the Riser Base has a gap that emits a lot of the laser light through it when processing a large object that requires a removal of the slats. According to the safety training this CO2 laser is a class 4, (High danger) laser. Why is there a gap here to expose everyone to this high level of radiation? how do we get rid of it, or block it in an effective way? Any ideas would be helpful. The training made it quite clear that it is considered Class 1 and safe with the baseplate installed, but does not mention what to do about the removal of said base plate.
