In XCS v1.4, the introduction of the Trace Image function marked a new step in bitmap editing! However, one limitation was the inability to split the generated vector and edit specific sections. Enter v1.5, with Layering by color feature combined with trace, you'll create more intriguing projects smoothly. This guide gives you a walk-through to unlock its power.

Introduction

Layering by color is a switch in the Trace Image panel. When turned on, the software will automatically generate the corresponding layer based on the color of the bitmap lines. Therefore, this function is used for images with obvious color differences and requires multiple processing methods.

Import a bitmap image. Click on Trace Image. Below, you'll spot a switch labeledLayering by color . Activate it, and click Save .
