For faster verification, you can plug the ends of the cable directly into the connectors on the motherboard and the Z-axis adapter board. Then you can try to engrave a project in the upper left corner and see if the laser head will touch the material. If it doesn't touch, it must be caused by the Z-axis cable, and you can try to replace it by referring to the link. If it still doesn't fix it, that will be another cause. Be careful not to damage the new cable during the test.
