Transition from XCS to xTool Studio

xTool Studio Is the Primary Software Platform

xTool Studio is the primary creative and control software for xTool devices, offering a smoother, more stable, and more comprehensive user experience. Studio provides major upgrades in interface design, workflow, performance, and design resources (fonts, elements, templates, etc.), delivering a more efficient and intelligent creative environment.

Relationship Between Studio and XCS

While many users are familiar with XCS (xTool Creative Space), xTool Studio is the new platform developed from it.

The final version of XCS is V2.7 (released on June 25, 2025). Future devices, new features, improvements, and updates will all be introduced exclusively in xTool Studio to provide a more unified and modern software experience.

Why Do I See Studio When Installing? Does This Affect XCS?

xTool Studio and XCS are two separate applications. Installing or updating Studio will not overwrite or remove XCS from your computer.

If you previously used XCS, we recommend upgrading to the latest version of Studio to access the newest features and improvements.

Device Compatibility (Studio First)

xTool Studio supports all xTool devices and is the recommended software for all users.
Starting from the P3 series and all new products released after August 2025, these devices will only support xTool Studio.

Devices supported only in Studio:

• P3
• F2
• F2 Ultra
• F2 Ultra UV
• All new products released after August 2025

Migrate Your XCS Parameters to xTool Studio

To ensure your material parameters and custom settings continue to work properly in Studio, we recommend migrating your existing XCS parameters.
