1. Overview
You can connect the AP2 Max to the xTool software and open the accessory information page to view the AP2 Max's filter life status.

When all three segments are green, the filter life is sufficient and can be used safely.
When both segments are orange, the filter life is more than halfway depleted.
When only one segment is red, the filter life is nearing its end and should be replaced as soon as possible.
When all three segments are gray, the filter life is either not installed or has completely depleted.
2. Detailed Description
- The AP2 Max's filter life is calculated using a countdown method. When connected to a main unit, the purifier will deduct different amounts based on the main unit, processing mode, and material. For example, if you use the xTool S1 to carve basswood for one hour at 40W, the actual filter life deduction is 1 hour; if you use the P3 to cut basswood for one hour at 80W, the actual filter life deduction is 88 hours. (Example only)
- Therefore, if you operate the purifier without a main unit, the displayed lifespan may differ from the actual lifespan.
