What is scanning way?
- From top to bottom: Engrave a pattern from the top to the bottom.

- From bottom to top: Engraves a pattern from the bottom to the top.

How does it work?
From top to bottom
From bottom to top
- When processing a single object: Take the lower left corner as the starting point for processing, and start scanning and processing from left to right and from bottom to top.
- When processing multiple objects: The processing order among the objects is sorted based on the greedy strategy.
Note: What is greedy strategy?
When engraving multiple objects, greedy strategy is adopted. That is, after engraving the current object, find the next object in the nearest position and start engraving.
When engraving any vector and bitmap object, processing always starts from the upper left corner, scans from left to right, scans from top to bottom, and ends at the lower right corner.
After engraving the last object, the laser module is at the lower right corner of the object, find the distance between this position and the upper left corner of other objects to be processed, and take the object with the shortest distance as the next object to be processed.
- For any engraved vector or bitmap object, processing always starts from the lower left corner, scans from left to right and from bottom to top, and ends at the upper right corner.
- After engraving the previous object, the laser module is at the upper right corner of the object. Look for the object whose lower left corner is closest to the position of the laser module among the other objects to be processed (select the object with the shortest distance based on the existing rules of the greedy algorithm) as the next object to be processed.
- When processing all together, it is the same as processing a single element. Take the lower left corner of the element at the lowest position on the Y-axis as the starting point for processing, and start scanning all together and processing from left to right and from bottom to top.
- When conducting scanning one by one and smart scanning: Take the lower left corner of the object at the lowest position on the Y-axis as the starting point for processing. For the next object to be processed, take the X coordinate of the end point of the previous processed object. Among all the endpoints of the horizontal lines of the current object, find the point Y that is closest to point X. Use point Y as the starting processing point of the current object and start processing from Y.
Note: For details about All together and One by one, refer to How to Set your Processing Path with User Defining Mode.
- The processing sequence when processing multiple objects (the processing type only includes the mixture of engraving vectors, bitmap, scoring and cutting vector): Engrave/Bitmap → Score → Cut.
- Supported models and processing modes:

F1 | Process on flat surface, baseplate removed |

How to use it?

icon next to the Process button and select User defining.

- Select one by one as the scanning path for engraving and From bottom to top as the scanning way.

- Select All together as the scanning path for engraving and From bottom to top as the scanning way.

Note: When selecting From bottom to top as the scanning way for D Series, the processing origin is disabled on the preview page, and it is the upper left corner by default;
Note: When framing, the starting point is consistent with the scanning way. When processing in relative coordinate mode, the laser module first moves to the lower left corner to start processing.
