Add Self-defined Materials and Set Parameters for them
If you want to use a material that cannot be found in the xTool Material EasySet Library, you could add it to your Popular materials and even to share it with other users.
Step 1 Enter xTool Material EasySet Library
Using EasySet Library within xTool Creative Space (XCS)
Click More xTool materials to access the embedded xTool Material EasySet Library site.
Accessing EasySet Library through an External Browser
You could also open EasySet Library in browse directly. Click on this URL:xTool Material Settings Library
Step 2 Click + Share Material
Click + Share Material in the upper right corner.
Step 3 Add Material Infromation
Fill in Material Cover, Material Name and Thickness.
Step 4 Set Parameters for the Self-defined Material
- Upload the image of Recommended image, Machine Model, Laser Power, Processing Mode and Processing Type.
- If this material is suitable for multiple machines and multiple parameters, you can click + Add Material Matrix Effects to add new material parameters.
- If you are unsure about the parameters that are suitable for this material, you can click View Material Testing Tutorial to see tutorial videos or graphics. These tutorials show you how to use the Material Test Array function in XCS on both mobile and computer to test the parameters of your self-defined material.
Step 5 Click Submit
Once you have filled out the material information and parameters, click Submit.
Set Self-defined Parameters for xTool Materials
If you think that the recommended parameters do not match the effect you want, you can also use the Material Test Array function to get the parameters of the xTool materials you want and save these parameter settings.
Step 1 Fill in the Parameters
After you test the results of the parameters, you can fill in the parameters in two ways:
- Move the progress bar.
- Click on the number and fill in the value you want directly.
Step 2 Save Parameters
- Click the Save Parameters icon:.
- Name these parameters and fill in the box.
- Click Save.
Step 3 Use these Parameter Settings
You could use these parameter settings the next time or later directly.
- Click Recommended parameter settings.
- Then click the name of parameter settings you have saved.
