1. Hold xTool Smart Press with two hands and lift it on the base. Plug the power cable and transceiver into the port accordingly.
2. Plug the power plug into the socket and connect to a power supply.
💡 Note: Before you connect xTool Smart Press to a power supply, make sure it is placed on the base. |
1. The indicator is solid blue when you insert the transceiver into the device.
2. Hold down the button on the transceiver for 3s. The blue indicator is blinking rapidly.
3. Toggle the power switch on the back of xTool Smart Control to turn it on.
4. Hold down the Start/Stop button for 3s. The pairing icon is blinking rapidly.
5. When the icon stops blinking, the indicator blinks slowly which means the pairing succeeded.
1. Press the power switch of xTool Smart Press. The buzzer sounds once and the indicator lights up once in orange.
2. Turn the knob to select the processing time to 30s and temperature to 160℃.

3. After the parameters setting is completed, the device starts to preheat.
The indicator turns green and the buzzer sounds, which means preheating is completed.
4. Place a T-shirt on the heat press mat. (The heat press mat is sold separately.)
5. It is recommended that you preheat the T-shirt for 5s to 10s for a better result.
6. Place the transfer film with a pattern on the T-shirt.
💡 Tips: You are advised to place a piece of baking paper or butcher paper on the surface of the material before processing so that the material will not get stained with residues on the heating plate. |
7. Hold the handles of xTool Smart Press with both hands, put the device on the transfer film, and cover the pattern. Make sure the pattern is fully covered by xTool Smart Press.
8. Press the Start/Stop button on xTool Smart Control. Start the countdown.
It is recommended that you lean forward to apply force on xTool Smart Press with hands to get better processing results.
9. When the countdown ends, processing is completed.
💡 Tips: For better heat pressing results, it is recommended that you wait for 30s to 60s and turn the material over. Then heat press the material for 15s with the same temperature again. |
10. Put xTool Smart Press back on the base.

11. Press the power switch to power off the device.
12. Wait for the material to cool down, then gently peel off the film.
If the pattern looks uneven after the heat pressing, you can place the film back in position and heat press it for a short time again.
13. Your DIY T-shirt is done!
