CH340 Driver Installation Guide

Note: For macOS 10.13 or later, you don't need to download and install the CH340 driver.

Download the CH340 driver package

Download the CH340 driver package based on the operating system running on your computer.

For Windows: https://storage-us.xtool.com/resource/static/xcs/driver/CH341SER.EXE

For macOS: https://storage-us.xtool.com/resource/static/xcs/driver/CH34x_Install_V1.5.pkg

Install the CH340 driver

Find the package you've downloaded and double-click it to install it

Complete the installation process as prompted.

Note: After you click to install the driver, the installation window may be minimized.

When a message indicating successful installation is displayed, you can restart XCS to use it. If a message indicating that the installation failed is displayed, close all the dialog boxes and install the driver again. If it keeps reminding you that the installation failed, it may be a false alarm. You can open XCS and try connecting a device.
