Introduction
- To ensure optimal performance, it is crucial to position the material surface within the correct focusing range of the M1. Exceeding this range can disable the "auto-measure" and "laser focus" functions, potentially leading to processing issues.
- With the surface of the bottom plate at the time of factory shipment as the reference surface 0 mm, the relationship between the focusing range and the auto-measure range for xTool Creative Space (XCS) is as follows:
Processing Mode | Focusing Range (mm) | XCS Auto-Measure Range (mm) |
|---|---|---|
Process on Baseplate | 0~16 | 0~16 |
Roller/Chuck - Use Rotary Attachment | -19~16 | 0~34 |
Baseplate Removed | -19~16 | 0~34 |
Blade Cut | No Focusing Required | No Measurement Required |
Operation procedure
Step 1
- Select the appropriate processing mode when using the riser base with the honeycomb panel.
- Choose either “Baseplate removed” or “Roller/Chuck - Use rotary attachment” mode.

Step 2
- Refer to the table below for placing the honeycomb panel at the correct height based on the dimensions of the processing material.
Honeycomb Panel Position | Suitable Material Thickness (Baseplate Removed) | Suitable Material Circumference (Roller - Use Rotary Attachment) | Suitable Material Circumference (Chuck - Use Rotary Attachment) |
|---|---|---|---|
TOP | 0~13mm | Unable to process | Unable to process |
α | 30~65mm | 0 ~ 88mm | Unable to process |
β | 60~90mm | 88~ 220mm | 0 ~142mm |
γ | 90~120mm | 220~299mm | 142~314mm |
Step 3
If the material size for processing is not included in the table, adjust the material height to ensure the processing surface is within the focusing range while making sure M1 is placed steadily during processing.
📌 Important note
- The data in this guide reflects theoretical values. Actual parameters may vary due to assembly tolerances, measurement inaccuracies, or flatness irregularities.
- Always verify material placement and focus alignment before beginning processing.
