1. Use a 4 mm hex key and two M5*12 screws to fit the base and base support together.

2. Set the control arm upright and place it on the table. Fit the control arm and base.
Hold the control arm. Rotate the connection tube to make its screw holes align with the screw holes on the base, and tighten the screws.
3. xTool Smart Press Platform is assembled!

1. Press the lower right corner of the connector for xTool Smart Press Platform, and remove the lid.
2. Use a 3 mm hex key and M4*16 mm screws to install the connection block on xTool Smart Press.
3. The connection block is installed.
4. Plug the power cable and the transceiver into xTool Smart Press, you don't need to connect to a power supply now.
5. Hold the handles of xTool Smart Press, slide the connection block into the slot, and install the device on the platform.
6. Fit the power cable on the cable slot. It can prevent the power cable from getting tangled when you rotate the control arm.
⚠️ Attention: Do not push the device from its back to avoid injuries due to machine falling. |
7. The assembly is done!
The following uses the PU film heat pressing on a T-shirt as an example.
1. Put the heat press mat on the processing area.
💡 Note: It is recommended that you use the platform with the heat press mat for a better result. At the same time, the mat can prevent the base from burning. The heat press mat is sold separately. Go to xtool.com to purchase one. |
2. Pull the handle forward and put it down gently. Do not press down the handle hard.
3. Rotate the knob to test the pressure level. It can ensure the accuracy of the pressure level in subsequent use.
💡 Note: Adjust the pressure level within the level range. Do not adjust it beyond the range. |
4. Pull the handle back.
5. Hold the front of the control arm and rotate it 180° clockwise.
6. Put the T-shirt on the heat press mat.
7. Place the transfer film with a pattern on the T-shirt.
8. Hold the front of the control arm and rotate it 180° clockwise.
9. Pull the handle forward and put it down gently. Do not press down the handle hard.
10. Turn the knob to adjust the pressure level, making the pointer points to the middle level.
11. Connect xTool Smart Press to a power supply.
12. Hold the handle of xTool Smart Press with one hand, and press the power switch with the other hand to power on the device.
13. Make sure xTool Smart Press is paired with xTool Smart Control. Turn the knob to select the processing time to 30s and temperature to 160℃.

14. The indicator turns green and the buzzer sounds, which means preheating is completed.
15. Pull down the handle all the way. Press the Start/Stop button on xTool Smart Control to start processing.
16. When the countdown ends, processing is completed. Lift the handle and rotate the control arm 180° anticlockwise.
⚠️ Attention: Do not touch the heating plate when you rotate the control arm. Otherwise, you may get scalded. |
17. Hold the handle of xTool Smart Press with one hand, and press the power switch with the other hand to power off the device. Disconnect the device to a power supply.
18. Wait for the material to cool down, then gently peel off the film.
19. Your DIY T-shirt is done!
