Be Specific about Your Question
The question editor is designed to help you provide the info necessary for a question. Each component works together to help you create a good question. So, we suggest following these guidelines:
1. Keep your Subject clear and concise.
The subject of your question should provide a specific description of the issue you are facing.
To do so, you can use this formula: Product/Subject + Brief of your issue.
D1 Pro stops engraving mid-job
P2 laser becomes a lot weaker all of a sudden
The engraving of F1 seems imperfect at the edge
Please avoid using oversimplified or ambiguous subjects.
Need help
It won't cut
I can't get it to work
2. Be specific about your Description.
To get answers quickly, try to provide as much relevant information as possible, including:
What do you intend to do before the issue happens?
What do you see during and/or after the issue happens?
What you've tried so far to solve the question on your own?
Add videos or photos to support your description.
Additionally, include any relevant information such as:
Operational software: XCS, Lightburn, etc.
Processing parameters: Speed, Power, etc.
Details about your hardware, system, environment, etc.
3. Choose the right Board to publish.
A board is a category or section where discussions about a specific topic are organized.
Choosing the right board makes your question accessible to the relevant audience, increasing the possibility of getting a helpful answer.
4. Tag your question properly.
Adding appropriate tags to your question helps group similar content and allows for quick filtering.
As a smaller unit for categorization, it helps people pinpoint a type of question and share knowledge among them.
5. Attach the file if needed.
If your question might require an examination of the file, please remember to attach it. This could be a design file that fails to open in XCS or a log file that contains error report information.
