Hey! I have had this machine for a few years - always had one major issue, misunderstanding, whatever it is - I am determined to understand it! Whenever the alarm gets triggered necessarily or, more often unnecessarily, the machine stops and beeps - okay - but then I’m left with a laser in a random spot and no way to know exactly where the origin was….so I have to start over….

I have ‘hacked’ this a little with my own version of an ‘origin’ point for the laser to return to in relative coordinates mode - I just have to be EXTRAORDINARILY CAUTIOUS not to bump ANYTHING. I am rather tired of it and I just can’t figure out what I am doing wrong.

I have been using relative coordinates and my ‘hack’ to get by. I know absolute would be much simpler but I can’t figure out how to set them up!
Every time I try to switch it to absolute coordinates, it slams the laser against the side and wails at me…every. Single. Time. It doesn’t matter where the laser is, hit absolute and BAM…

I have hunted high and low for a tutorial, article, blog post, anything, but I have found NO directions! Am I the only one who has this problem???? What am I missing???
