Anyone here who has upgraded from the D1 Pro 10w to the S1 10w?

I am wondering about the power differences.

I did a Christmas ornament with my D1 Pro which came out nice with very fine detail.

I just purchased the S1 10w because of the safety and it is supposed to do finer detail. (laser size is smaller with the S1 according to the spec sheet)

I just processed the same ornament with the S1 one and there are areas the S1 burnt out which my D1 Pro did not. Seems strange to me the newer finer detail machine is not cutting as fine as the D1 Pro did.

I am thinking maybe the S1 is more powerful than the D1. Any sense to that? If so how much more and what would be a good way to adjust for the new laser?

On the D1 Pro I used Lightburn to process the ornament with the following settings:

Speed 6, Power 100 2 passes on 3mm birch wood.

With the S1 one I used XCS and these settings:

Speed 5 power 85 2 passes on same 3mm birch wood.

I would like to do it in one pass but can't get all the small pieces to totally cut through with 5 speed and 1 pass.
