Set parameters on xTool Smart Control

To set the parameters of xTool Smart Control, there are 3 ways. Select one way according to your needs.

1. Switch between preset levels

There are 4 preset levels. The temperature, time, and application scenarios of each level are different.

Level	Temperature	Time	Application scenarios
A	140℃ (285℉)	30s	Heat press the PU film on nylon or silk
B	160℃ (320℉)	30s	Heat press the PU film on pure cotton, cotton-polyester blend, and polyester
C	200℃ (390℉)	40s	Apply heat sublimation on polyester
D	205℃ (400℉)	60s	Apply heat sublimation on the wood

💡 Note: The parameters are only recommended. Due to the diversity of materials, differences of the environment and processing methods, you can modify the parameters according to the processing results.

1. Press the Level switch button to switch the level between A, B, C, and D.

2. After selecting the level for processing, press the Start/Stop button, and xTool Smart Press starts to preheat.

2. Define a level yourself

If you want to define custom temperature and time under the preset level and save them as a new level, you can set them as follows.

1. Press the Level switch button to switch the level between A, B, C, and D.

2. Once you select the level, turn the knobs to adjust the temperature and time that you need.

3. Press in a quick manner and hold down the Level switch button for 3s to update your setting as the level.

4. Press the Start/Stop button, and xTool Smart Press starts to preheat.

3. Set the time and temperature directly

💡 Note:

This custom parameter is designed for one-time use. It needs to be reset after use for the next use.
The time and temperature are saved in a timely manner when you set them. You should exit the preset level mode first.

If the device is under the preset level

1. Press the Level switch button at level D to exit the level mode, then set the time and temperature.

2. Turn the knobs to adjust the temperature and time directly.

3. Press the Start/Stop button, and xTool Smart Press starts to preheat.

If the device is not under the preset level

1. Turn the knobs to adjust the temperature and time directly.

2. Press the Start/Stop button, and xTool Smart Press starts to preheat.

Error code	Description	Solution
	Exceptions occur on the temperature sensor on the heating plate.	Contact xTool team for help.
	Exceptions occur on the onboard temperature sensor.
	Exceptions occur on the temperature sensor of the radiating fins.
	The temperature of the heating plate does not go as expected.

	The onboard temperature is overheated.	Power off, wait for the device to cool down, and then restart to continue the processing.
	The radiating fins are overheated.
	Exceptions occur when the heating plate is heated.	Contact xTool team for help.


	Exceptions occur on the wireless chip.

Error code	Description	Solution
	Exceptions occur on the temperature sensor on the heating plate.	Contact xTool team for help.
	Exceptions occur on the onboard temperature sensor.
	The temperature of the heating plate does not go as expected.

	The temperature inside the device is too high.	Power off, wait for the device to cool down, and then restart to continue the processing.
	Exceptions occur when the heating plate is heated.	Contact xTool team for help.


	The heating time is too long.	Power off, wait for the device to cool down, and then restart to continue the processing.
